These modules are designed to slot into any class, on any day. Each one is a focused, AI-coached activity — not a lecture, not a worksheet — that pushes students to engage critically with how AI actually works rather than passively absorbing facts about it. Students explore the specific ways AI fails — from hallucination and outdated knowledge to overconfidence — and practise spotting these failure modes in real examples.
AI Safety & Risk Coach
Students identify personal, social, and academic risks when using AI — including privacy, data sharing, manipulation, and when AI use crosses into academic dishonesty.
AI Ethics & Social Impact Coach
Students engage with the ethical and societal dimensions of AI — bias, fairness, labour impacts, environmental cost, and who benefits and who doesn't.
AI Use Boundary Checker
Students work through a structured decision-making framework to judge whether using AI for a given task is appropriate, helpful, risky, or a shortcut that undermines their learning.
AI Output Critic
Students learn to read AI responses with structured scepticism — checking for factual errors, missing perspectives, biased framing, and flawed reasoning across any subject.
AI Use Reviewer
A post-task reflection tool — students look back at how they used AI for an assignment, evaluate whether it helped or hindered their thinking, and articulate what they'd do differently.
AI Decision Simulator
Students navigate realistic scenarios requiring judgment under uncertainty — practising when to use AI, when to verify, when to override it, and how to weigh competing considerations.
Generic Study Buddy
An open-ended AI tutor that asks questions before giving answers, helping students think through any topic using guided inquiry. Assign before or after a lesson on any subject.
